Narrated Abu Sai’d Al-Khudri (R.A.A): Somebody asked, “O Allah’s Messenger! Who is the best among the people? Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) replied “A believer who strives his utmost in Allah’s Cause with his life and property.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari)
Try utmost to establish a society of peace
Dear brothers and sisters, Jihad is an Arabic word which means to try utmost. It is a permanent and continuous process. In its first phase, a Muslim learns to control his own bad desires and intentions. We need to strive hard to achieve this. The duty of a Mujahid is to establish Maruf (right) and remove Munkar (evil) from the society and to establish a society of peach, progress and prosperity. The society where every one will enjoy his or her God gifted fundamental human rights. It demands the use of all our material and mental resources.
The most desirable aim of a Muslim
Allah said in the gracious Qur’an: Those who believe fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the Cause of Taghut (Shaitan). So, fight you against the friends of Shaitan. Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan. (An-Nisa: 76) As real and genuine servants of Allah we should participate in Jihad. We should use all that we have in the cause of Allah. If we can do this, then we will be able to seek Allah’s mercy as well as His pleasure and eventually attain paradise. There is no doubt that this should be the most desirable aim and objective of a Muslim.
Therefore, finally we like to see truth prevail and untruth vanish. May Allah give us ability to fight for Allah’s cause. Ameen.
