Iftar party at IISC
YOUTHWAVE Student Society (YWSS) had arranged an Iftar Party on the premises of Islamic International School and College (IISC), Gulshan. The program was organized by YWSS Gulshan Branch on 27th August, Thursday. In the Iftar Party Shafiqul Islam, Senior Teacher of IISC put forward the importance of the holy month of Ramadan among the fellow students and explained the teachings of this special month.
The students were very curious to know about the past contributions, present conditions and the future possibilities from the Muslim Ummah for the betterment of the society from Zubair Idris, a Medical student of UCL, London; he was the special guest. Abdullah Al Mashud, Central President of YWSS in his speech as a Chief Guest invited the students to get organized and to work for having the best for the next.
The program was concluded by Munajat performed by a guardian. The whole program was presided over by Kamrul Islam, President of YWSS Gulshan Branch. Masudur Rahman Rana, Secretary, Manzur Ahmad, Organizational Secretary and Asif Mahmood Abbas, Executive Member of YWSS Gulshan Branch were also present among others. Salman Rahman Khan, President and Akibur Rahman, Secretary of YWSS IISC unit volunteered the whole program. About 90 students and teachers of IISC together made the Party a great success.
