On 14th November, a seminar on “Parents: the middle gate of Jannah” was arranged by YOUTHWAVE Student Society (YWSS) at the auditorium of WAMY Bangladesh office, sector 7, Uttara. Around 40 students from Gulshan and Uttara participated in the seminar. Zayed Ovi, professionally a teacher for O/A levels, presented the topic with a very lively presentation. At the start of the presentation, lecture sheets were provided to all the students present. He gave sparkling references from the light of the Quran and the essence of the Hadith about how should our behaviour be with our mothers and fathers. The scholarly presenter also pointed out the common misbehaviours we are practising day-to-day and the ways we can go out of this situation. He not only emphasised on the rights parents have on their children but also to the rights children have on their parents. After the presentation, Abdullah Al Mashud, president of YWSS gave his speech where he told the students about recent activities of the organisation and plans to be worked out in near future. Abu Musa, General Secretary of YWSS conducted the seminar. Golam Sadek – Central Office Secretary, Manjur Hossain – President of Gulshan branch, Masudur Rahman Rana – Secretary of Gulshan Branch, Mir Kamrul – President of Uttara Branch, Mizanur Rahman Kiron, Secretary of Uttara Branch, Executive Members Ashiqul Hoque Abdullah and Aqibul Hoque Nurullah were present among others. The program ended with Magrib prayer and then some light snacks were served.
