Prize Giving ceremony at Ark Int'l School
YOUTH WAVE STUDENT SOCIETY Dhanmondi Branch had arranged a prize giving ceremony on the occasion of a quiz competition at THE ARK INT’L SCHOOL. The questions of the quiz competition were compiled up by the help of the members of the organizing committee. These were mainly focused on the contemporary issues and other historical events and some mathematical evaluation. A wonderful article regarding the importance of exploiting the youth in an orderly manner was posted on the other side of the paper in order to concern the YWSS members for making the best use of their youth time. The prize giving ceremony occurred on 24/08/09, Monday, in the school premises at Dhanmondi. The President of YWSS central committee Abdullah Al Mashud along with Secretary Abu Musa and Md. Yunus Sumon, the president of Dhanmondi branch were present in that occasion. Abdulah Al Mashud, the chief Guest, underpinned a presentation to illustrate the work of YWSS and all that. He focused on building students with responsibility, knowledge with morality and a career with character among the students. He inspired the students to be visionary, self motivated and a great leader. He emphatically recognized of changing thyself and then changing the world. The junior and senior school coordinators attended the program. Around 25 members of YWSS in the school participated in that competition and the best 3 were awarded. Arian Araf Sadi from std-V, Adiba Ahmed from std-VII and Khalid Md. Saifullah from std-VII won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. The proud winners received crests from the Guests. Khalid Saifullah Fahim, Md. Awsaf Fahim, Nasif Bin Zafar and Saad Al Huzaifee were also awarded for organizing the program. The Special Guest and Chief Guest also received crests. This program was greatly appreciated by the teachers and magnetized other students’ attention. Thus a great responsiveness among the students was sighted soon afterwards.
