And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me. (Adh-Dhariat: 56)
This worldly life is only for preparation for Akhirah
Dear readers, this worldly life with its temporary allurement are not the main object of a Muslim. Allah declared and explained to Muslims that they should direct their efforts in this life to gain eternity and paradise in the life after death. This worldly life is not an end itself; a true Muslim considers it only a means to the life hereafter. He should consider this life, life of transitory and preparation for Akhirah.
The aim of the worldly life
O you who believe! Fear Allah and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent froth for tomorrow and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is al-Aware of what you do. (Al Hashr: 18) Therefore, when a Muslim remembers these types of verses of glorious Quran, he understands his aim in this worldly life and acquires knowledge about the true life hereafter, which is certain to come. As a result, the serves Allah devoutly and strives to gain His consent and kindness in this worldly life and in the hereafter. This will encourage him to fulfill his religious duties sincerely such for happiness in supplicating Allah and gain tranquility by continuous remembrance of Allah. Such a man is always good in his deeds and sayings.
Follow the instruction
A conscious Muslim strives for the happy eternal life and then he will gain happiness not even in this worldly life but also in the hereafter. Consequently, when a person will follow the instructions given by Allah in the Quran and explained by Muhammad (pubh) in the Hadith, he will be complete Muslim. Then his all activities will be accepted and be rewarded by Allah. Our dearest prophet (pubh) has said: How astonishing is the believer all his affairs are rewarding, if he is blessed with a favor he thanks Allah and gains the reward of thankful man and if he is afflicted with misfortune, he endures and gains the reward of patient man.
Finally, we are praying to almighty to give us ability to strive for happy eternal life.
